Reverse style nesting boxes are specifically designed to collect your eggs from outside the coop.
The nesting entrance inside the coop provides a private, safe and comfortable environment for your hens and chickens, promoting egg laying and and discouraging brooding behavior. Each individual compartment is sized to accommodate a medium to large sized hen and can host up to 5 different hens. Home, sweet home!
Box panels, roof and perches are made from galvanized steel, providing a stable and reliable structure when assembled and easily mounts to the side of any wall, barn, fence or coop allowing you customize your coop.
Trays & lids are made with PP Polypropylene plastic which won't rust, rot or corrode, and feature a ventilation filter grid to allow unwanted material to fall through the basket. Our trays are removable and washable, helping to keep the nest clean. The reverse style box uses our classic style trays.
Nesting box liners are not required or necessary with our trays.
Each tray is designed with a slight slope which allows eggs to gently roll away from the hen and into the collection chamber. This feature helps keeps eggs clean and ready for easy collection. Tray collection lids protect eggs from feathers, dirt, chips, breaks and pecking they also provide a fast and easy way to gather eggs.
